I donated $40 in honor of Evangeline's Birth today. She is the 2nd daughter of a wonderful friend of mine and what a joyous way to share God's love than to give in His name. I chose to donate to the clean water fund because the money was matched,the stastics stated that every 15 seconds a child dies from contaminated water. As a mother, that broke my heart. So I wanted to even bring some good to that situation.

I gave $100 in Honor of JT Patton's 30th Birthday. I chose the Maximum Impact Fund, which goes to families and children in the most need of food and water, from what I read. I was happy to donate and plan to donate more often. JT has encouraged many people to use this forum to spread God's word by touching the lives of those in need. JT touches people daily because of his strong relationship with Christ, it encourages me to stengthen my relationship with Christ and I hope my donation may stengthen someone else.

My grandaughter just donated 5 ducks and 2 chickens as part of her Christmas gift. She chose to give, instead of receiving. What a great way to teach children the gift of giving. (This was in honor of her Aunt's recently announced pregnancy.)
